Originally Randie performed with her band AMA (Against Medical Advice). Together they played many venues including Kenny’s Castaways and CBGB’s in New York City. The band was even featured as part of a Comcast acoustic series cable event.
Embarking on her solo career, Randie combines the warmth of her Pennsylvania upbringing, the savvy of surviving an abusive past with the style and sophistication of living near New York City. Her songs deliver the passion of her personality and capture the spirit of the message she delivers as a storyteller. Her music is both upbeat and timely with a message of strength and perseverance.
Randie’s music tends to be up-tempo songs about the challenges of relationships, just getting through the day and finding the motivation to make things better. While dealing with tough topics, she tries to encourage and motivate the listeners to find hope and strength in each day.
Working as an adolescent intervention specialist, Randie is dedicated to helping students navigate a complicated world. Drawing on her own troubled past by along with her education, Randie relates to her audience to provide a message of understanding and hope for current problems that face our society.
Randie is currently working on new studio tracks in California with Grammy nominated songwriter and producer Jan Linder-Koda. Music tracks are being created by the talented Matt Moss from Louisiana. Marty Rifkin will complete the Production team at his Santa Monica studio. This team spans the continent to develop a unique sound that is current and relevant for todays listeners.
