Here is some info for Peter:
Peter Biedermann is a solo instrumental guitarist based in Green Valley, AZ that has been composing and performing for over 40 years. PB’s background also includes stints in various group settings; most notably the bands PING, White Light, Serious Fun, Magic Spot and Amalgamation. The common thread throughout his musical background is crossing the boundaries of music without limits. This hybrid contemporary style melds elements of American and European folk with jazz and blues shadings underpinned by subtle ambient electronics. PB began focusing on performing original solo instrumentals beginning in 2000. The music is now being presented in intimate settings such as libraries, coffee houses, house concerts, and churches.
PB will be focusing on pieces from his latest recording ‘Tales From The Desert’ on a variety of 6 and 12 string guitars in unique tunings. Fans of fellow guitarists such as Leo Kottke, the British school (Bert Jansch, John Renbourn, Davy Graham), Ralph Towner, Michael Hedges and Pierre Bensusan will enjoy this music.
